Heart of gold....a 'local wedding hero' bridal salon saves a traumatized bride's day with an act of kindness and generosity.

With all the stress, details, energy (and money) spent on planning the wedding you want, the very thought that your bridal gown would be stolen two weeks before the big day with no time to have it replaced is just awful. That's exactly what happened to a La Jolla bride recently when she walked outside one morning to find that her car and her bridal gown have been stolen.

But what she never saw coming was an amazing act of kindness from Escondido bridal salon Something Borrowed. Owner Stacy O'Neill of Something Borrowed bridal came to the rescue and offered this traumatized bride her pick from her huge selection of beautiful designer bridal gowns.

Well done Stacy!! We've been wanting to create a 'local wedding hero' award for wedding professionals who go above and beyond for some time now and think we just found our first recipient!
