A Secret Garden Theme and Two People Overflowing with Love Make for a Wedding to Remember

We just love featuring weddings that show this much love! Especially when our favorite wedding pros had the honor in sharing in the love all day too. Check out this perfect sunny day San Diego wedding with two people so in love [love their first peek around the corner images!] it will make you feel it too!

Says San Diego wedding photographer Paul Douda, “We cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie & Stormie. Spending the day with them, their family and friends was nothing short of magical. Their love for one another is inspiring and represented so vividly with those who surrounded them. This madly in love couple fully committed to their 'Secret Garden' theme that was carried throughout their whole wedding planning process. From Stormie's proposal to Katie during the 'Garden of Lights' Christmas celebration at the Encinitas Botanical Gardens, to their engagement session we shot at Felicita County Park in Escondido, and finally to their romantic garden inspired wedding by the sea in Oceanside at Spring Hill Suites by Marriott. Katie & Stormie's day was full of so many special family details. They were married by Stormie's Aunt Liz, Katie's sisters completed her bridal party, they shared a double father-daughter dance and we know they were joined in spirit by Stormie's late mother and Katie's late second mom. The day was perfect and we are so honored to have captured it. They truly showed that love surely WINS in #KatiesPerfectStorm!” Editor’s Note: Paul Douda Photography is one of So Cal’s favorite LGBTQ friendly wedding photographers and you can sure see why! #loveislove

Love Wins Every Time - Especially with This Gorgeous Wedding Styled Shoot that Celebrates Our LGBTQ Friends. Love is Love.

There’s nothing greater than the union of love, especially when we live in a world where LOVE WINS. This styled shoot is set to emphasize the love that exists, the power of collaboration and the power of LOVE. Shattering the glass ceiling was just one of the motives behind this new age shoot. Love is Love. Styled by Fairy Godmother, a Wedding & Event Company, with deep blues, rich reds [check out her gorgeous burgundy tux jacket!] and metallic gold, this powerful, vintage inspired shoot wins too!

"ren-dez-vous": noun: a meeting at an agreed time and place, typically between two people.

This pop up wedding styled shoot was set in the loft of an antique store in the heart of downtown Bakersfield, CA. Vintage vibes illustrated with dark, deep maroons and touches of gold were juxtaposed by the natural light from the industrial windows and bright colored stones handcrafted into the décor. Mis-matched candlesticks, antique dishes and sugar crystal name cards completed the tablescape. Handmade-coin rings symbolize the labor of lasting love and soft, airy touches remind us of true love’s kiss!

Gorgeous Styled Shoot Turns Into a Surprise Proposal that will Leave You Smiling

Dillon thought it was just a styled wedding shoot, but it turned out to be one of the most joyful days of her life. Photographer and Videographer Elle Lily tricked Dillon into wearing a microphone and being interviewed for a "blog post" for her website. Dillon happily details their relationship and all the reasons she loves Hayley, moments before Hayley surprises her by popping the question! We love this surprise proposal and styled shoot rolled into one with all of its love and emotion beautifully captured on film. Be sure to watch Dillon's hilarious and adorable reaction in the video too.

Colorful Bali Hai LGBT wedding celebrates love, gratitude and San Diego sunshine!

We wish you a very happy start to 2017 with a fun and colorful wedding on the San Diego Bay that celebrates with a Second Line parade and a lot of delicious cupcakes!! Happy New Year!

One of the most fun elements of Michael and Steve's wedding celebration was their Second Line celebration to, as they said, "Bring the joyful N'awlins spirit to our special day in California." A 'Second Line' is a parade with musicians and umbrellas and is a lively  celebration of life and jazz and is a huge part of New Orleans' [pronounced N'awlins to you Yankees out there] cultural heritage.

From Navy to Nuptials: Steven and James celebrate their intimate wedding with clear skies, airplanes and dogs!

Steven and James met while stationed together in Japan while in the Navy, so it came as no surprise that their wedding was 'photobombed' by planes flying by during and after their ceremony, serendipitously celebrating their personal connection with the Navy, planes, and flying. With so much love and joy evident in this lovely, intimate wedding - held at a private residence then moved to Juniper and Ivy to celebrate - we think you will enjoy this featured wedding as much as we did which features happy people, a beautiful San Diego day and our favorite wedding guests....adorable dogs in bow ties!!

Couple:  Steven Barber and James Stokes

With such a small wedding, Steven and James wanted an intimate space and beautiful views that highlighted their incredible new hometown... San Diego! The ceremony took place on the roof above their home downtown San Diego with incredible views of the ocean, downtown, and airport.

Sara and Bianca: a beautiful estate wedding celebrates a beautiful love

Two beautiful brides celebrate their wedding at a Rancho Santa Fe estate with lots of bubbly, lots of sparkle and lots of love!

Bride:  Sara Swikard   Bride:  Bianca Marino

Sara & Bianca met in 2007 while studying abroad and became instant besties! Two years later they committed themselves to one another on the same glorious day they decided to tie the knot, New Years Eve. This beautiful couple shares a love for bubbles, the San Diego Chargers and Michael Jackson. As Michael would say, these "PYT's" (pretty young things) were made for each other. They inspire each other to be their best self and it shows in every move they make together. To quote Bianca's vows, "we do not complete each other, but complement each other." The love they have is vivid and truly one of a kind.

Excerpt from the ruling by The Supreme Court of the United States:

“No longer may this liberty be denied,” Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote for the majority in the historic decision. “No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice and family. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were.”

We're so happy and proud to be a loving voice in the wedding industry and to have supported all love and marriage since 1998!
