La Jolla Woman's Club
The La Jolla Womans Club offers itself
to wedding couples as San Diego's most intimate and charming ceremony and
reception site. Designated an Historic Building and listed in the National
Register of Historic places, The La Jolla Woman’s Club was designed by well-known
architect, Irving Gill, and built in 1914.
La Jolla Woman’s Club has been beautifully and carefully maintained and has
acquired true grace, beauty and elegance.
The La Jolla Womans Club's numerous manicured gardens offer beautiful, peaceful
settings for ceremonies, cocktail receptions and intimate conversation. The
Club features a rarity among contemporary wedding sites; a sizable auditorium
reminiscant of the Big Band's heyday, with a large stage, original wood dance
floor and a grand piano. La Jolla Woman’s Club is located in the heart of
"The Village," the historical and fashionable La Jolla, just one block from
the Pacific Ocean.
The gardens, the great dance floor, the incredible amount of light pouring
in through the french doors and of course the architecture, are all reasons
why La Jolla Womans Club is, to us, one of San Diego's TOP 25 wedding venues.
The Club is open for viewing Saturday mornings only 9 am to noon.
