For its Spring-Summer 2019 Bridal collection, Maison GEORGES HOBEIKA highlights the supreme symbol of love – the rose – and brings to the newest generation of brides the Couturier’s deep passion for nature. Inspirer of charity balls and bucolic poetry and celebrated since antiquity by great painters and mythical writers, the ‘Queen of flowers’ develops the ever-changing enigmas of her germination on precious fabrics, with a lightness and grace as a delicate as her petals.
Internationally known for his signature expression of femininity, romance and elegance, haute couture designer Georges Hobeika has captivated the fashion world with his creative style and his consistent crafting of statement pieces admired as works of fashion art.
During his civil engineering studies, Georges Hobeika discovered his innate passion for fashion design when he began sketching dresses to assist his mother who owned an atelier business with a growing clientele. Pursuing his passion, he left to Paris during the height of the Lebanese War and was immersed in the world of fashion via his internship at Chanel. Georges Hobeika returned to Beirut, established his atelier and was ready to debut on the Paris couture runway in 2001. Today, Georges Hobeika enjoys an ever-growing haute couture clientele and has successfully established three ready-to-wear lines – Georges Hobeika Bridal, Georges Hobeika Signature and GH by Georges Hobeika.
We know Meghan (now Duchess of Sussex) changed into a gorgeous Stella McCartney design for her reception - we’re wondering how do you feel about the “two dress” wedding? If you have an extremely elaborate gown for your ceremony and find it difficult to really move, dance, and enjoy yourself -then a second dress is a nice way to get more comfortable and really get boots on the ground at your reception!

There’s nothing quite as beautiful, rich and classic as the silk satin bridal gallon like this beauty by Ines Di Santo featured at M Bride salon La Jolla. Silk satin was the fabric for dressy gowns of the Victorian era [and then in the 1950's - think satin and pearl as a classic formal dinner attire] and satin made from silk has a luscious sheen and a smooth 'melted icing' finish that exudes luxury.
Taking the plunge by getting married is a huge step no doubt, but wearing a daring, deep V-neckline as you walk down the aisle, like these bridal gown styles by BHLDN, is another step altogether! The deep V is most flattering for 'smaller cup' gals to keep a smooth line along ones decolletage without giving it all away, still we wonder; are you daring enough to take the plunge?

Stephanie White's enchanting designs transform the classic every day bridal gown into a modern take on the vintage Renaissance look; ranging from long trains, unique embroidery, bell sleeves, high necklines, and an abundance of silk. this collection can make the Montagues and the Capulets make up for good!
When your something blue is a beautiful confection of a bridal gown by one of our favorite local designers Jaime Elyse then everything is heavenly. We just love it when a local girl makes good like this talented Southern Cal fashion designer and artist. And you can see why she is the toast of Fashion Weeks in Toronto, LA and New York!

Born and raised in Mumbai, bridal gown designer Naeem Khan grew up in a world surrounded by culture, architecture, art, history and design. As a boy, he cultivated a vast knowledge of textiles under the watchful eyes of his grandfather and father, both of whom designed intricate clothing worn by Indian royal families. Khan ultimately moved to the United States as a teenager to become a designer and launched his career as an apprentice for legendary American designer Halston at the age of 20. During his time with Halston, he immersed himself in the ethos of modern restraint and learned the craft of draping and cutting fabric to create a clean, elegant and timeless silhouette. Khan eventually merged this design philosophy with the knowledge he gained from his family’s business to nurture his own unique style, and the Naeem Khan design aesthetic was born.
Khan launched his eponymous collection in 2003 and began selling at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Since then his collections have adorned glamorous women around the world, including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Rachel McAdams, First Lady Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, among others.
In 2008, he was inducted as a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America and most recently launched the Naeem Khan Bridal collection in 2013.
Today the Naeem Khan Ready-to-Wear and Bridal collections are sold at more than 150 retail outlets across the world. The closest complete bridal selection for Nareem Khan is in Beverly Hills at the Saks Fifth Avenue on Wilshire Boulevard, but Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus do carry his incredible ready to wear collections locally.
