Take a moment and look at this video and think of the thousands [up to even tens of thousands!] of frames of photos and moments that a great wedding video like this one brings together. You know we love photos! Especially wedding photos - but take a second to play this wedding video by Stockham Media. Listen to the beautifully spoken vows, hear the subtle intake of breath as the groom is overwhelmed by emotion, and join in the guests' laughter as the bride make a sweet little joke in her vows. This is something that your grandkids will watch over and over and cherish forever. Thanks to the creative team at Stockham Media for bringing us into the heart of the day with all the sights and sounds and feels that an amazed wedding guest experiences!
From drone footage of the La Jolla coastline to charming details, and perfectly timed editing with all the right moments, this La Jolla wedding highlight video definitely has as crying happy tears (and wishing we had crashed this one)!! Well done Stockham Media!!
The couple shares their story: "We met at Joey’s house, the surf house in North PB, at the very end of college. We both went to UCSD, though he did a 5th year. We had hung out another time or 2, but always with a large group of people. Then a year later we ran into each other at Outside Lands in San Francisco. We hung out a lot that day, and I was the one that asked him for his number. He was the first one to wish me happy birthday at midnight that night (besides my sister and friend I was with). Joey then had an “extra ticket” to a show in San Diego a couple weeks later, and I happened to be down there that same weekend. So our first “date” was the Handsome Furs at the Casbah. Then he had another ticket to another show, and by the third, he finally kissed me, and we’ve been together ever since, even when I moved to Hawaii for almost a year right as we started dating."
Kelly and Joseph were married at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla, where the two attended college together.

Dillon thought it was just a styled wedding shoot, but it turned out to be one of the most joyful days of her life. Photographer and Videographer Elle Lily tricked Dillon into wearing a microphone and being interviewed for a "blog post" for her website. Dillon happily details their relationship and all the reasons she loves Hayley, moments before Hayley surprises her by popping the question! We love this surprise proposal and styled shoot rolled into one with all of its love and emotion beautifully captured on film. Be sure to watch Dillon's hilarious and adorable reaction in the video too.

There are few venues as quintessentially San Diegan as the El Cortez Hotel. Towering above everything else in 'uptown San Diego', this landmark Art Deco building, with its memorable neon titled rooftop, first opened its doors in 1927 to rave reviews and a loyal clientele of dancers, diners and revelers. Shuttered for years then opened by a couple of visionary developers, The El Cortez's ambiance, with its richly designed and upgraded gold gilded Don Room, is a beautiful place to celebrate love. And that's just what Christina and Ryan did!
With pops of bright color and gold accents to match the Don Room and plenty of delicious food, tons of fun, and loving family, this event was truly a night to remember!

As the famous 1930's Parisian songbird Edith Piaf sang "Hold me close and hold me fast, The magic spell you cast, This is la vie en rose, When you kiss me heaven sighs, And tho I close my eyes, I see la vie en rose." La Vie en Rose is the blissful, rosy way we view life in love and Stephanie and Matthew's beautiful Parisian themed wedding truly celebrated La Vie en Rose! The gorgeous pink roses, the pink champagne, that beautiful cake and the bridesmaids dresses, the custom dance floor and of course, the Westgate Hotel's gorgeous interior brought together a rosy day of love and joy. From the beginning when Matthew proposed to Stephanie at the top of Las Vegas' version of the Eiffel Tower to their selection of the gorgeous [and very French styled] Westgate Hotel they envisioned a very elegant, Parisian wedding reception theme that led right up to their honeymoon, which, Stephanie and Matthew will, you guessed it... spend in Paris, France!

A good wedding video makes you wish you'd been at a wedding. A great wedding video makes you feel like you were. Wouldn't it be amazing if you had video of your grandma and grandpa or even your great grandparents dancing at their wedding? Or seeing your mom or dad as small children in action at a wedding from decades ago and to imagine that your great grandchildren will have the benefit of feeling that close to you by watching your wedding video generations from now and cry along with you over the love and the connected-ness that a videographer captured is simply incredible…
Cinematography captures the love, the beauty, the feeling, the sounds and the energy …it has so much more depth than any other form of documentation and it's a lot of work. So I commend all our videographers for the beautiful work that they produce and for making permanent memories of so much love. Because loving what they do shows in every frame of their work. We invite you to enjoy this lovely and inspiring selection by Videographer Bryan Bratt.
And be sure to check out our online directory of wedding videographers!
San Diego's top bridal show celebrated its 39th show at Venues at Liberty Station with tons of amazing wedding pros and ideas, cake tasting, catered food, cocktails, fashion show and the winner of the Most Adorable Doggie Ringbearer Contest Rocco! We had a blast at this fun day of the best local wedding planning and style. We loved seeing so many talented companies all in one place.
