The ceremony arch is set, the flowers are perfectly placed, and the guests are about to arrive. It's so exciting when it has all come together and the love and joy are about to commence. San Diego event planner Melissa Barrad of I do Weddings snapped this quick photo of the calm before the joy and we love this styling! Retro plastic shell chairs by Witty Rentals, [view by San Diego, California of course] and the talented Organic Flora did the florals and arch. Love everything about this aisle.
Aloha! Having a an island themed celebration is such a blast in San Diego! Even now in December with our warm weather, perfect days and gorgeous settings, we're the perfect setting for an island life style! Andrea and Corey, started their wedding weekend celebrations with a welcome luau at the super popular Liberty Station, San Diego. Their guests had a delightful excuse to escape to a tropical Maui luau with signature cocktails in coconuts, lei's, flower crows and hula dancers! Each seating area [and oh those wicker peacock chairs!!] was adorned with lush tropical flowers and colorful rugs, pillows and unique, hand selected furniture making for a lovely luau feel all day long celebrating their love and marriage with classic Aloha style!

Top local wedding caterer Authentic Flavors Catering has awesome advice for your wedding day! They say "the morning of your wedding will be full of jobs that need to get done. Between your hair and makeup appointments and getting your dress on, you’ll easily lose the whole morning. Your groom will also be busy doing his last minute preparations. One thing you shouldn’t forget is your breakfast.
The saying that it’s the most important meal of the day is even more true on your wedding day. While your guests will have a bit of food before they go out, and small bites during your cocktail hour, you might not get to eat until your dinner.
One way to ensure you have a great and healthy breakfast is to have it catered. As you get ready, you can have a beautiful spread laid out. Whether it’s frittatas or fresh fruit, your wedding caterer can help with this meal that will help you get off on the right foot." Check out more ideas and info on their website, you can count on Authentic Flavors Catering to know just how to take care of you on your wedding day.
