Finally! A Charming Little Red Riding Hood Wedding Styled Shoot for Fairytale Lovers

SWF seeks Wolf for Marriage and Lifelong Love. We all love a fairytale wedding styled shoot! And obvious Red Riding Hood elements peppered the styling and couture in Game of Thrones costumes! Velvet capes anyone? Fairy tales have become more and more au currant in our culture and we think these timeless themes always resonate with fashion shoots. Oh and we do love red!

The vintage Diamond Chantilly lace wedding gown by Hope Stanley was boldly embellished by a Jim Hjelm sash. The broach and tiara were vintage as well. The cake designer provided a 3-tier red cake which used fondant to create the cake detail. Branch and flower accents were created by hand, and the cake also featured twig embellishments. From the invitation designer: “I wanted to do something rustic to reflect the setting and theme of the wedding, while still keeping it elegant and contemporary. I didn’t want the red to “take over” the invitations, but rather be just an accented pop of color on the different pieces. I used all matte cardstocks…but a combination of wood grain, smooth stock and textured stock to add some depth and dimension to the invitations as well." From floral designer Florals by Jenny: “I was inspired by the theme to use deep red lush flowers with a lot of textures and almost a velvet-like look. When picking out the flowers, I was also looking for various foliages that would have a natural wildflower feel that looked like they grew in the forest…that’s why I even incorporated some real blackberry vines. I also added about 6 other foliages and vines to give it a natural, rustic, garden-like feel.” Says Photographer Courtney McManaway, "this shoot was a lot of fun and so much credit goes to the great team of vendors!"

A new take on Pink and Blue makes for a Sweetly Romantic Grand Tradition Wedding

With vibrant melon pink bridesmaids and florals, sharp-as-a-tack blue-suited groomsmen, a couple deeply in love and the fairytale setting of Grand Tradition; this charming wedding in San Diego North County was set to be a romantic classic right from the start. We already know that this couple is going to have the most magical and fairytale-like marriage. Christian and Courtney had an obviously magical wedding ceremony and reception. We are swept away by their sweetly romantic theme. And we love the fresh summer-like youthful feel of their decor and colors! They had us at the "First comes love then comes cake" sign on their dessert table!

And yes, their emotional responses were a good sign that these two have something special between them as well. You know that a couple is so far fallen for each other when BOTH are crying tears of joy together!

However, it's HOW this wedding came about that we know their many years together are about to be the most magical yet. See, Cristian proposed to Courtney at a place that is full of nothing but pure magic. Disneyland. If this is how this couple started out, we know they're in for the [Disney-like] ride of their lives.

This Magical Wedding Is One for the Fairytales (and apparently the Jurassic Period)

Ciara and Shane Miller certainly know how to think outside of the box. That's what we loved most about this couple's magical wedding! The two actually met when they were in high school and started dating a few years later. Three years later Shane proposed on New Year's Eve. The couple decided to get married on the beautiful Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos. A very special addition to this couple's photo gallery is a rare sighting of a wedding crashing T-Rex!
