Exotic Moroccan Bohemian Wedding Styled Shoot from Australia Just Sends Us Into Heavenly Lavender Bliss

We love our So Cal style but always have one eye on the talented and creative artists and stylists around the globe- just take a gander at this gorgeous styled shoot by out pals 'down under' from Adorn Invites! We love how you inspired us with your Bohemian-Moroccan-lavender-bliss!!

Here's what this shoot's talented stylist had to say about her inspiration: “It’s amazing to witness how this theme and style organically developed into something so different from our early idea. I still can’t believe that our original palette involved oxblood and navy and our lavender Spring time setting was actually a brooding forest with an alternative-tatted up gypsy bride!

Scrolling through our digital mood board – you can clearly see how the progression evolved. Ominous fashion editorials developed into ethereal models and fairy like details, and vivid lilacs and shades of gold slowly made their way in. Despite the ever changing theme – at the core of our shoot, was the desire to craft something completely different and accessible to a number of brides......read more below...

"...Although our theme was heavily influenced by Bohemian and Moroccan styles, we didn’t want to limit the décor to only one look, which is why we included more romantic and elegant details. You’ll find this harmony throughout the whole editorial, for example our indoor dining table features an installation of wild flowers, lush unstructured greenery and an entire set of semi-precious stones and crystals. We balanced this organic look with more minimal pieces such as art deco inspired vases, elegant gold cutlery and whimsical satin ribbon.

The mascot/embodiment of the day was no doubt our stunning cow skull motif that was used as the key centerpiece in the outdoor shoot. This guy was clearly from our initial theme – embodying the darker style that we initially wanted, however we brought him into our lilac fairytale by DIY-ing him with more feminine details. We spray painted him white and gold and found pearls and diamantes from a costume jewelry store. We hoped that by transforming him into a less avant-garde detail, we could inspire other brides to include more eccentric elements into their own wedding. After all, it is only one day – brides don’t be afraid to embody your unique personality and style! Cow skulls and all.”

High School Sweethearts Celebrate Their Forever at a Coronado Wedding

Crystal and Mario are the quintessential high school sweethearts. They have been together for 15 years having both attended Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley, California where the pair fell in love and started the journey of a lifetime as mere teenagers. Until the day came when Mario realized that he couldn't spend another day not married to his best friend and decided to propose at sunset at one of their favorite beaches in San Diego, of course!

Their family and friends were ecstatic to celebrate their wedding day. Even their beloved dog, Scooter, was a groomsman (and you know how we feel about dogs!) Check out this lovely featured wedding with Crystal's chosen palette of plums, blues and lavender tones and a seriously adorable flower girl and ring bearer and yes.... they had us at 'dog groomsman'.

This wedding was nothing short of the extravagant celebration the patient duo deserved. Crystal and Mario rang in their new life together at the gorgeous Coronado Community Center and what a celebration it was!

A sparkly, tropical, magical wedding showcases a dynamic couple's unique style

We just love it when a couple knows who they are and what they want! It sure makes their wedding celebration a day of all the things the couple is crazy about. For Felicia and Stefan it was a tropical atmosphere, great music, romantic candle lighting, their shared love of themed events, their families, and each other. Felicia chose the color palette of champagne and gold with pops of lavender, her favorite color since childhood. With added touches of sparkle in the table numbers, frames, gorgeous candle lighting everywhere, her gold heels, romantic marketing lighting throughout the tent, metallic vases and a fabulous sparkler send-off, this event at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens captured by Brett Charles Rose Photo, was magical!

Incorporating their siblings talents was a must. Stefan's brother, a very thoughtful and profound speaker, the best man, gave the most heartfelt speech. One of the Bride's brothers, Phillip, whose charisma can capture an audience, married them and her youngest brother, a celebrated Broadway performer, serenaded them during the ceremony with "Stay With You" by John Legend and also sang as they danced to their first song as husband and wife.

Since the Groom is, in the Bride's words "an obnoxiously huge University of Miami fan", football is a huge part of their relationship. So to surprise him in a fun way and show some real team spirit, the Bride wore a garter proving her love for his team.

Lavender Blue dilly dilly, a charming outdoor wedding at Quail Haven Farm in Bonsall

An olde English song from the late 17th century goes:

"Lavender's blue, dilly, dilly, lavender's green, When I am king, dilly, dilly, You shall be queen. Who told you so, dilly, dilly, who told you so? 'Twas my own heart, dilly, dilly, that told me so."

With satchels of Lavender lending a delicate element to the day, The Battaglia's wedding unfolded on a warm October day, with moody skies and turned into a love-filled celebration of lavender and gold worthy of a modern day king and queen.
