Rich Burgundy Toned Wedding Styled Shoot Celebrates with a Hint of Medieval Magic

This Wedding Styled Shoot celebrates bold style and outdoor wedding glamour with a hint of Medieval charm and the MOST stunning florals! If this ultra rich and regal burgundy-toned Wedding Styled Shoot doesn't inspire you to add a little medieval flair to your wedding day we don't know what will! And oh my goodness that circular floral swing has us in deep crush mode!

For gifted floral designers and stylists inspiration can come at any place and at any time and from any era! This modern take on royal medieval style for a wedding magically appeared while visiting the Milagro Winery Cave. The beautiful winery cave’s interior is covered with large stone pieces and immediately transports one to an era of iron and clay, candles, and over the top lush weddings with long and hearty celebrations.
The talented wedding photographer Sergey from Red Trolley Studio captured the imagined newlyweds as if in a time machine. The majestic tree at Milagro Winery was decorated with a romantic vintage floral swing with rich Darcey garden roses and eucalyptus, harkening a never ending love story. The Bridal bouquets [all fit for a queen!] embodied true magic with a variety of textures and color tones: burgundy garden roses, Privet and Hypericum berries with a blush of anemones and seeded eucalyptus. The florals in this shoot are fab-u-lous and we see a lot of wedding florals! These living works of art were created and styled by the floral designer artist Tatyana Mironova Jamora of Unforgettable Florals. To create a medieval royal experience, Gold and Burgundy textured linens were provided by Patricia Patty’s Linen Rentals. We loved the heavy iron key chains and candelabras, it just takes you back in time. The delicious dessert Cream Puff tower [Croquembouche anyone?] and cupcake feast were designed and provided by Joanna Page of The London Bakery. The bridal beauty makeup artist Tanya Tello and wedding hairstylist Audrey Borunda created a soft and delicate look for the beautiful bride and grooming for the dashing groom.
This talented team was thrilled to showcase this theme inspired ceremony at Milagro Winery - the perfect romantic setting.

That Moment the Lightbulb Goes on Over Your Head...You Need Great Lighting by SocialLights at Your Wedding!

It happens to everyone in the wedding planning process... that feeling in the back of your head that there's one key element missing that, once added, will take your event up a big notch and make things more romantic, more fun, more stylish and, well, more visible! We know what it is!!! You need great lighting by SocialLights at your wedding! Indoor or Outdoor weddings rejoice! SocialLights brightens up your wedding with their super cool lighting options, check them out!

Says the team at SocialLights "We take your lighting dreams, ideas, and visions and turn them into a reality.  We specialize in outdoor and indoor lighting of all shapes and sizes. Think market lighting, gobo lighting projections, wash lighting, marquee signs,  light walls, uplighting, twinkle lights, Edison lights, star lanterns, light canopies, paper lanterns and whatever your imagination can dream up.  We are here to make this piece of your celebration easy, fun, and above all amazing."

And one more illuminated thing about Social Lights; they give back....a lot.

All Work with no giving back makes Socialights a sad family...

Part of the SociaLights family mission is to be aware of the impact we make on this planet.  We love that our jobs (and let's be real, our travels) take us to so many unique places with backdrops, often created by mother nature, that we get to enjoy.  We want those backdrops to stay beautiful and help do our part to make sure they do. Over the years we've done a lot of things to see to it that our footprints as individuals, and as a team, were kept low.  From the obvious - recycling, buying mostly used home goods/clothes, creating our own gardens, composting etc. To the not obvious - Ryan's been dumpster diving at grocery stores to raise food waste awareness recently.

All these efforts took a turn for the better when we found an organization that joins businesses that have the same motivations.... and so we joined 1% for the Planet.  We couldn't be more proud we did.

Started by Yvon Chounaird (Patagonia), 1% for the Planet's mission is to unite businesses across the world to band together to keep this planet blue.  Each year we commit to giving a certain amount of our time to volunteer for local enviremental organizations and 1% of our profits to a non profit of our choice.  This year we've chosen the incredible 1to1 Movement.  A local San Diego non profit dedicated to education and awareness.  In addition to being a member of 1% we're also proud to have partnered with organizations like The Ronald McDonald House of San Diego to help them raise funds at their annual gala.

Winter Wonderland Wedding Inspiration Wows even in Sunny San Diego!

The luxurious and refreshing scent of pine trees, traditional Winter colors of silver, burgundy and white with forest green, charming pinecones styled into the paper goods, and evergreen sprigs all come together to celebrate that all Mother Earth does not diminish in Winter! And when you add in real life couple Bryan and Megan, the beautiful rustic furnishings, what has to be Megan's favorite sweater, sparkly Christmas ornament bauble, cookies [for Santa perhaps?] and a puppy, well you can see why we love this Winter Wonderland shoot!  Happy Holidays to all!

Waves Crashing, Sun Setting, This Toes in the Sand Beach Wedding was the Refreshing Low Key Event Everyone Wanted

Beach weddings! It's one of the main reasons why people love to get married in So Cal! Waves crashing, beautiful sun setting over the water, your toes in the sand and a tear in your eye as your heart fills with love and joy for your loved ones saying "I do!". This low key affair was exactly the stress free affair that Zac and Chelsea wanted. With a love as endless as the sea and as deep as the ocean, these two celebrated with a light hearted day of ease and joy with a close group of friends and family. And as the couple said their vows in front of the crashing waves and sunset it brought everyone to tears in a moment of pure bliss... which was followed, in true Southern California style, by tacos and margaritas!

Love of Nature Inspires an Eco Friendly Safari Wild Animal Park Wedding

For a couple who met at the Circus and wed at the Zoo there just has to be a good story! So get this....Aaron meets Kat while performing in the circus! Kat is stage manager; when the show was done they kept trying to make/find excuses to hang out with each other.  So Kat and Aaron "Met in the Circus, and got married at the Zoo".  And it just keeps getting better!  Another thing we love about this wedding is that Bride Katherine Turkle felt strongly about having an eco friendly wedding, one that did not generate a lot of waste for environmental reasons. Getting married at the Safari Park [the San Diego Safari Wild Animal Park is so eco-conscious and does so much good for endangered species and more] was the perfect fit for a wedding location! The bride wore her mom's dress, that was her grandmother's before that with original Alencon lace on the hem from her grandmother's wedding in the 1940's!

Says Katherine "I always make an effort to vote with my dollars so knowing that I was writing a check to an organization with an environmentally conscientious spending record was a relief."

On GREEN-ing up, Kat says.  "We made adjustments like not serving bottled water at the wedding and carefully selecting decorations that would be up-cycled/ re-purposed and not thrown away. We made extensive effort to have as little paper waste as possible. Wedding invitations were on Paperlesspost.com. I designed a google form for our guest RSVP options, I also designed our wedding website, sent email updates, and google documents to coordinate the wedding paper-free." We hope you enjoy looking through this day of sharing love and conscious decisions, all of which made the world a better place.
