White on white on white is a bold move, yet going monochromatic for the Bride makes for timeless photos.

Don’t forget to embellish the stems of your bouquet with meaningful pieces like a brooch or pin from your grandmother. As a bride you’ll be  connecting with these as you walk down the aisle.

Dawn Stone of Embellishmint Floral & Event Design Studio makes the coolest boutonnières ever!

Dawn Stone is a very talented floral artist. Take the (to the untrained eye) simpie boutonnière- the man’s version of corsage. First Dawn takes the tools of the trade that anyone can use...ribbon, floral tape, innocent look and seemingly unrelated greens and florals....but never underestimate a true artist’s eye for color, proportion, design, balance, and that certain something!

Then the magic begins....a little trimming, a little taping.....

And voila! A gorgeous boutonnière fit for any well-appointed groom’s lapel!  We never would’ve thought to add a little bit of succulent to this gorgeous tuberose and silver greenery! Amazing!

A Soft and Sweet, Spring Inspired San Diego Styled Wedding Shoot

Inspired by spring and its greenery, Rachael Smith Photography's goal for this styled shoot was to keep spring alive at Hotel Karlan. With the help of some awesome local vendors, she was able to do just that! The beautiful, muted shades in the floral arrangements by Floral Occasions by Janna Hatch perfectly capture the soft, airy feeling of spring while Farm Tables and More provides the perfectly simple China, tables, and chairs.
