If you love anything beachy or tropical for a wedding then you'll be saying "Mahalo!" for this lush and lovely wedding styled shoot! It starts with The Catamaran Resort in Mission Bay, with its lush tropical surroundings, beachside settings [the bay side of Mission Bay feels like you're on an island it's that peaceful and beautiful!], then add gorgeous floral table decor, boutonniere and fabulous Protea bouquet by the area's foremost floral "Kaha Ki'i" [that's Hawaiian for artist] Haydee of Haydee's Creative Flowers, who hails from the islands of Hawaii and brings so much Aloha to her work. Then add in charming island themed cake pops, wedding cake and desserts [love the pineapple design!] by Jennywenny Cakes, lovely tropical paper goods, light and stylish beachy wedding attire and have it all styled by expert event designer Nicole of Love Marks the Spot. Then, of course, have all this gorgeousness captured by the talented Justice Photo and there you have it: the perfect beachside tropical wedding inspiration! Aloha to all and Happy New Year!
Aloha! Having a an island themed celebration is such a blast in San Diego! Even now in December with our warm weather, perfect days and gorgeous settings, we're the perfect setting for an island life style! Andrea and Corey, started their wedding weekend celebrations with a welcome luau at the super popular Liberty Station, San Diego. Their guests had a delightful excuse to escape to a tropical Maui luau with signature cocktails in coconuts, lei's, flower crows and hula dancers! Each seating area [and oh those wicker peacock chairs!!] was adorned with lush tropical flowers and colorful rugs, pillows and unique, hand selected furniture making for a lovely luau feel all day long celebrating their love and marriage with classic Aloha style!

All Melissa and Adam wanted for their wedding day was a relaxed, fun, and carefree time. Judging by their photos below, we think they had just that! This couple's carefree attitudes definitely carried over into their Hawaiian themed wedding. Their magical day took place at The Dana on Mission Bay underneath the palm trees which was the perfect setting for their tropical soiree. From the bubbles to the games to the exciting entrance as a married couple, these two sure know how to throw an exciting party!

We just love it when a couple knows who they are and what they want! It sure makes their wedding celebration a day of all the things the couple is crazy about. For Felicia and Stefan it was a tropical atmosphere, great music, romantic candle lighting, their shared love of themed events, their families, and each other. Felicia chose the color palette of champagne and gold with pops of lavender, her favorite color since childhood. With added touches of sparkle in the table numbers, frames, gorgeous candle lighting everywhere, her gold heels, romantic marketing lighting throughout the tent, metallic vases and a fabulous sparkler send-off, this event at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens captured by Brett Charles Rose Photo, was magical!
Incorporating their siblings talents was a must. Stefan's brother, a very thoughtful and profound speaker, the best man, gave the most heartfelt speech. One of the Bride's brothers, Phillip, whose charisma can capture an audience, married them and her youngest brother, a celebrated Broadway performer, serenaded them during the ceremony with "Stay With You" by John Legend and also sang as they danced to their first song as husband and wife.
Since the Groom is, in the Bride's words "an obnoxiously huge University of Miami fan", football is a huge part of their relationship. So to surprise him in a fun way and show some real team spirit, the Bride wore a garter proving her love for his team.
